Hiring out of personnel - information for employers

The employment office’s ‘Hiring out of personnel’ service provides employees for a temporary need of labour force. The duration of an employment relationship can vary from a couple of days to several months.

The register of the ‘Hiring out of personnel’ service includes candidates from various sectors who have experience and know-how within their own areas. A company is sent an agreed number of candidates of whom the company will make the choice.

The hired employees are in an employment relationship with the employment office which will take care of the employer’s liabilities such as paying the wages, tax withheld in advance as well as pension and social security contributions. The company is responsible for initial training, supervision and occupational safety.

‘Hiring out of personnel’ is one of the employment office’s paid services. The subscribing company is charged only for the worked hours and the costs caused by the service.

The ‘Hiring out of personnel’ service is available at the employment offices of Helsinki, the Oulu region, Pori, Päijät-Häme, Tampere and Turku.
