Living and Working in Finland

The Finnish labour administration can help you to find work in Finland and in other EEA countries through the EURES network. All EEA citizens who are in Finland can benefit from the services labour administration offers. Further information on vacancies is available on the mol.fi Internet site. You can also call the national helpline (Työlinja) on +358 10 19 4904 (from Finland 010 19 4904), e-mail: tyolinja@te-toimisto.fi

At this page you will find information on living and working in Finland. The Quick Guide to Finland offers basic facts and useful links in two pages, whereas Working in Finland guide contains more specific information on working, social security and tax issues and educational opportunities in Finland.

As EEA/EU citizens you can contact the nearest EURES Adviser in your home country to have information on the job seeking and application procedures. For more detailed information on working in Finland, you can contact the Finnish EURES Advisers.

EURES - the European Job Mobility Portal includes also information on living and working conditions in Finland.
